Este final de semana participamos de um evento bem holandes! Eu que já perdi todos os Koninginnedagen depois que eu cheguei na Europa (Dia da Rainha, o aniversário oficial comemorado 30 de abril). Aproveitamos um sábado de sol para pedalar muito no Landelijke Fietsdag, dia nacional da bicicleta.
This weekend we joined a very Dutch event! I've already missed all
Koninginnedagen after I came to Europe
(the Queen's Day, the official birthday celebrated on every April 30th).
We've enjoyed a sunny Saturday biking a lot on the Landelijke Fietsdag,
the countrywide bike day.
Domingo, pegamos a bike de novo e lá fomos nós até Scheviningen, a cidade à beira da praia que é colada a Den Haag. Mais uns 10 km pedalando pra ir (e outros tantos pra voltar pra casa), fomos ver a exposição de esculturas de areia. Algumas não tão interessantes... Mas eu tirei uma foto de cada pra vocês decidirem.
Sunday, we took the bike again and went all the way to Scheviningen, the beachside city near Den Haag. Another 10 km biking to the beach (and the same on the way back), we went to the sand sculpture exhibition. Some are interesting... But I took a picture from each, so you can decide.
